Front-of-the-frontend craft: design systems, motion, accessibility, and the seams that make products feel alive.
We're hiring one senior product engineer who lives at the seam between design and engineering. You'll own the design-system layer on every engagement — typed components, motion, accessibility, and the polish that makes shipped products hold up under real users.
This is a small-team role with end-to-end ownership. You'll prototype interactions in code (not Figma), pair with the brand designer on token decisions, and write the component library the engineering team actually uses.
Ramp on the existing component library. Land 5+ component PRs under review.
Own the design-system layer on an active engagement. Run the engineering review on every component.
Take the seat as the cross-engagement design-system maintainer. Set the bar for motion and accessibility across the studio.
Show us a component or system you maintain. One page on the constraints and the decisions that paid off.
We pick a real component from one of our engagements and refactor it together. No homework.
You ship a real component on an active engagement under review. Full senior rate from day one.
After the trial, both sides decide. If it's a fit, you start full-time the following Monday.
No cover letter. No long-form essays. A real portfolio, a real system you shipped, and a few sentences on what you'd do differently.
